Design Guidelines:

  • We recommend keeping your design as simple as possible, as detailed designs may be challenging to complete within the 3-hour session.
  • Your design should ideally include no more than 4 colors.
  • For extra assistance, please refer to the designs page , which may help guide your choice.

Additional Costs:

  • Each additional color beyond the 4-color limit incurs a fee of R50, payable on the day of the session.
  • Please ensure your design is in a digital format. We cannot accept images of other rugs as designs.
  • Designs must be submitted at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.

Session Details:

  • Each session lasts 3 hours for a 50x50cm piece and 3.5 hours for a 70x70cm piece.
  • If additional time is required to complete your design, there is a fee of R140 per extra hour.

Mentorship Options:

  • The tufting workshop is a DIY activity. Mentors will be available to guide you through the process.
  • If you require extra assistance or prefer to have a mentor assist with your design, additional fees apply:
    • R100 for a 50x50cm design
    • R130 for a 70x70cm design
    • R200 for a 1m x 80cm design
  • These fees are payable at the end of the session.

Important Policies:

Materials Breach Policy:

  • If a tufting material is damaged during your session, you will be responsible for 100% of the replacement cost of the equipment. This policy helps us maintain the integrity of our tools and equipment.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 100% of your payment will be refunded if you cancel 72 hours or more before the event.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop.
  • Postponements must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
