Tufting Workshop Terms & Conditions
- Design Guidelines
1.1. Participants are encouraged to keep their designs simple, as intricate details may be challenging to complete within the allotted session time.
1.2. Each design should include no more than four (4) colors to ensure timely completion.
1.3. Additional colors beyond the 4-color limit will incur a fee of R30/R50/R100, payable on the day of the session.
1.4. Designs must be submitted in a digital format. Images of existing rugs will not be accepted.
1.5. Designs must be submitted within 48 hours of booking confirmation to ensure adequate preparation time. -
2. Session Details
2.1. Each session duration is as follows:
2 hours for a 35x35cm piece
3 hours for a 50x50cm piece
4 hours for a 70x70cm piece
2.2. If additional time is required to complete the design, a fee of R140 per extra hour will apply. -
3. Mentorship Options
3.1. The tufting workshop is a DIY activity, with mentors available to provide guidance.
3.2. If additional mentorship is required, the following fees apply:
R100 for a 50x50cm design
R130 for a 70x70cm design
R200 for a 1m x 80cm design
3.3. Mentorship fees are payable at the end of the session. -
4. Design Submission
4.1. All designs must be submitted via WhatsApp to 067 903 9340. -
5. Materials Breach Policy
5.1. Participants are responsible for handling all tufting materials and equipment with care.
5.2. If any tufting materials or equipment are damaged during the session, the participant will be required to cover 100% of the replacement cost. -
6. Cancellation & Postponement Policy
6.1. A full refund (100%) will be issued for cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled session.
6.2. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop.
6.3. Postponement requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
By booking a session, participants agree to adhere to these Terms & Conditions. Failure to comply may result in additional fees or refusal of service.
